This blue commemorative plaque records: Near this spot from the 1790s to the 1860s stood Gospel Oak Ironworks where in 1843 John and Edmund Walker made the cast iron columns for the Albert Dock in Liverpool. Recorded plaque organisation: Tipton Civic Society.
