This blue commemorative plaque records: Jubilee Park. Opened 13 April 1935 by Councillor A.F.Welch Chairman of Tipton Urban District Council. Built as an unemployment relief scheme and named to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of King George V Recorded plaque organisation: Tipton Civic Society.
