This blue commemorative plaque records: Ringwood Hall built in 1829-30. From 1908 to 1926 the home of Charles Paxton Markham (1865-1926) ironmaster, coal-owner and engineer. Mayor of Chesterfield and a great benefactor to the town Recorded plaque organisation: Chesterfield and District Society.
