What is recorded here

This black commemorative plaque records: The clock above has been donated by Derek Frampton and reinstated here by Bognor Regis Town Council with the kind permission and support of the building's owners Staffurth & Bray. This site originally had a similar clock that was removed in the early 1900s. This clock was originally at Wades Jewellers on the corner of York Road and Belmont Street and following the building's demolition in 1975 was relocated to 7-11 High Street where it remained until 2001.

A plaque record does not grant entry to a building or private land. View it from a public place unless permission is clearly given.
