What is recorded here

This black commemorative plaque records: Barrack Yard. Once the coaching yard of The Cross Keys inn, later a barracks for Cromwell's soldiers during the English Civil War; 18 families lived here, where St Peter's Court is now.

A plaque record does not grant entry to a building or private land. View it from a public place unless permission is clearly given.
