This blue commemorative plaque records: Queen Street Mill. The last remaining steam powered textile mill with boilers, engine and looms still working. Built in 1894 as a workers' co-operative, commercial production stopped on 12th March 1982. Recorded plaque organisation: Burnley Heritage.
