This black commemorative plaque records: To commemorate the pivotal role played by Aberdeen and the North East in the Jacobite Risings. In the Castlegate in 1715 and 1745 James Francis Edward Stuart was toasted as King and Jacobite troops mustered. Recorded plaque organisation: City of Aberdeen 1745 Association.
