This blue commemorative plaque records: Bella Reay born in Cowpen. Centre forward for Blyth Spartans Ladies (1917-1919) and England. Bella scored 133 goals in one season and was part of the team which went on the win the Munitionettes' Cup in May 1918 Recorded plaque organisation: Blyth Town Council.
