This blue commemorative plaque records: The Assembly Rooms Its handsomely decorated ballroom and card rooms made it one of Yorkshire's finest assembly rooms. Its patrons were the Leeds merchants and the local nobility and gentry. The ground floor formed the northern range of the third White Cloth Hall.
