This bronze commemorative plaque records: Peasholme House Erected in 1752 and almost certainly the work of John Carr, architect, of this city. Acquired and completely restored by York Civic Trust in 1975, being European Architectural Heritage Year. Recorded plaque organisation: York Civic Trust.
