This stone commemorative plaque records: This stone was laid by Henry Jephson M.D. on the 25th May 1840 in commemoration of the extension and improvement of this bridge and in celebration of the birthday of Her Most Gracious Majesty Queen Victoria Recorded plaque organisation: Warwick District Council.
