What is recorded here

This green commemorative plaque records: On Good Friday 11th April 1941 this tramline was thrown over the adjoining houses by a high explosive bomb which fell on Redcliffe Hill. It is left to remind us how narrowly the church escaped destruction in the war 1939-1945.

A plaque record does not grant entry to a building or private land. View it from a public place unless permission is clearly given.
