This commemorative plaque records: Marlow Suspension Bridge by William Tierney Clark FRS MICE 1783-1852 opened in September 1832. This bridge and the Szechenji Chain Bridge linking Buela and Pest across the River Dabube are the only surviving suspension bridges by William Tierney Clark
