This blue commemorative plaque records: John Henry Barlow (1855-1924) Quaker statesman, peace ambassador and first Secretary of the Bournville Village Trust from 1900-1923. In 1914 he helped set up the Friends' Ambulance Unit. Lived here 1900-1924 Recorded plaque organisation: Birmingham Civic Society.
