What is recorded here

This blue commemorative plaque records: Abbot House This 15th century house, built by the abbots of Dunfermline, was the only domestic building to survive the great fire of Dunfermline in 1624. It has since been a private mansion, an iron foundry, an art school and is now a heritage centre.

A plaque record does not grant entry to a building or private land. View it from a public place unless permission is clearly given.
