This blue commemorative plaque records: This building first opened in 1914 as St Paul's Wesleyan Methodist Sunday School. From 1949, when the chapel was closed, it was used as the Borough Magistrates Court. In 1995 it became the Salvation Army Citadel. Recorded plaque organisation: Brighouse Civic Trust.
