This black commemorative plaque records: Albany Hancock (1806-1873) & John Hancock (1808-1890). Renowned Naturalists, after whom the Hancock Museum was named, lived in this house - formerly 4 St Mary’s Terrace 1838-1890. Recorded plaque organisation: City of Newcastle upon Tyne.
