This blue commemorative plaque records: Sergeant Ivor Rees VC 11th Battalion South Wales Borderers. Awarded the Victoria Cross for most conspicuous bravery in the attack by the 38th Welsh Division on Pilckem Ridge during the 3rd Battle of Ypres in Flanders on 31st July 1917 Recorded plaque organisation: Llanelli Community Heritage.
