This blue commemorative plaque records: Robert Saint 1905-1950. In this house lived Robert Saint. Miner and bandsman who in 1936 wrote the musical score 'Gresford'- The Miners Hymn to commemorate the 266 men and boys who lost their lives in the mining disaster of 22nd September 1934 in Gresford, Wales.
