This blue commemorative plaque records: Pann's Bank. Pann's Bank has been the commercial heart of old Sunderland since the 16th Century. Used by a succession of industries until the shipyard closures of 1960s, the ensuing dereliction has now been transformed to attract new uses. Recorded plaque organisation: Borough of Sunderland.
