This blue commemorative plaque records: Angel Mill Built in 1806 by Jn. & Wm. Laverton & Ben. Overbury. The first purpose-built steam powered factory in the area. Abraham Laverton owner from 1852. Closed in 1969. Recorded plaque organisation: Westbury Town Council.
