This blue commemorative plaque records: 17th Century, refronted in 18th Mishearing a suggestion by Earl Bathurst, in the 1920s, that the house should be named after the Gunstool Brook, which flows at the rear, his tenant called it Dunstall House which has endured. Recorded plaque organisation: Cirencester Civic Society.
