This blue commemorative plaque records: Kirkstall Brewery. Though established in 1833, these magnificent brewery buildings date from the 1860s and 70s. In the late Victorian era the Kirkstall Brewery Company exported large quantities of beer to Australia by barge and its own steamships Recorded plaque organisation: Leeds Civic Trust.
