What is recorded here

This grey commemorative plaque records: Egerton School. The school was built by Lord Wilbraham Egerton (1st Earl) in 1893 as a Church of England School for boys and girld. It continued as such for 80 years, being closed in 1973.

A plaque record does not grant entry to a building or private land. View it from a public place unless permission is clearly given.
