This green commemorative plaque records: SOMERVELL GARDEN Funded by the William H. Somervell Trust Fund for Kendal and developed by Kendal Town Council with assistance from Kendal Civic Society. Stonework salvaged from the Netherfield Offices of Somervell Brothers (later K Shoes).
