This blue commemorative plaque records: From this quay on March 15th 1831 The Steam Packet Paddle Steamer 'Frolic' embarked on a fateful trip to Bristol which ended when it foundered on Nash Sands off Porthcawl on March 17th with the loss of 80 passengers and crew Recorded plaque organisation: Haverfordwest Civic Society, Haverfordwest Town Council.
