This white commemorative plaque records: Abbey Street, one of Britain's finest medieval streets. Saved from destruction and restored in 1958. Among those responsible were Frederick Bishop, John Hallward, Geoffrey King, Herbert Richards and Sydney Wilson. Recorded plaque organisation: Faversham Town Council.
