This blue commemorative plaque records: In this farmhouse Henry Wood boorn 1603 Who fought with Cromwell against King Charles I Was persecuted for his religious beliefs when Charles II took the Crown and suffered many years in jail for being a Quaker When released aged 80 years left England with son John and family bound for America and founded the city of Woodbury in the state of New Jersey Recorded plaque organisation: Bury Metropolitan Borough Council.
