This blue commemorative plaque records: Thirsk and Sowerby Town Hall. Designed by Walter H Brierley Yorkshire architect and opened on 16 July 1913. It was an auxiliary hospital in the First World War. Recorded plaque organisation: Thirsk Town Council.
