This blue commemorative plaque records: Severalls Park. These stone piers mark the entrance to one of the earliest council estates in the country. Promising a better future, the housing, trees and recreation grounds are a memorial to the 131 Crewkerne men killed in the First World War. Recorded plaque organisation: Crewkerne Civic Society.
