This white commemorative plaque records: West Gun Works (1863) Built by Firths it became the worlds leading gun barrel forge establishing numerous heavy forging records. Its products included the 'Woolwich Infant' gun and the Enfield rifle Recorded plaque organisation: Sheffield City Council.
