Oldcroghan hides a man-made passage beneath its soil, linking the castle and church without breaking the ground above. Local tradition claims people once walked that dark tunnel, perhaps escaping rain, danger, or simply pride. The absence of any visible entrance makes the claim harder to dismiss, because invention usually provides a hole to point at.
