You can still touch the bold, pocked angles of CLIUCOANAS MAQI MAQI-TRENI in the Stone Corridor at University College Cork, though parts of the name have slipped beyond certainty. The stone came from one of fifteen ogham markers hidden in an underground passage inside a Ballyknock North ringfort, a place where memory was buried rather than displayed. It is fitting that Cork keeps it indoors now: a private claimant, dragged into public light, still resisting full reading.

One of 15 ogham stones found in a Man-made underground passage (CO055-007003-) in a ringfort (CO055-007001-) at Ballyknock North, Co Cork (CO055-007008-) and currently on permanent display in the Stone Corridor, University College Cork. The inscription is boldly pocked, on diametrically opposed angles. It was read by Macalister (1945, 86, no. 86) as CLIUCOANAS MAQI MAQI-TRENI.
