Located on the steep W-facing slope of the N-S Tara ridge, and c.600m SW of the Rath na Ríogh enclosure (ME031-033005-). The cropmark of a circular enclosure (ext. diam. c. 80m) was detected on a Google Earth image in 2012 by Aidan O’Sullivan of the Dept. of Archaeology, UCD. It consists of a circular area (diam. c. 35m) defined by a fosse, a bank, and an outer fosse features. It is possibly the remains of a ploughed out barrow of stepped type. (Monaghan 2012).
