What is recorded here

Mortars and towers appeared across Ireland when Christian kingdoms replaced older cults. Whether that is fact or fashion is no longer important. The round shape is visible in many places and the claim is not that every tower is Irish or that every Irish tower is Christian. The claim is that a new cultural wave left a shape behind.
