Leacht is a low rectangular platform of limestone slabs in a Noughaval graveyard, marking a place where people gathered, prayed or remembered before the church rose beside it. A ringed cross still stands in one top slab, pointing to the 12th or early 13th century and suggesting the platform was not forgotten but reused. The buried eastern face and surrounding graves leave room for wonder about whose bodies, ceremonies or claims shaped this quiet stone room.

Situated within a graveyard (CL009-059024-) to the S of a medieval church (CL009-059023-) and to the W of a later chapel (CL009-059027-), this rectangular leacht (3.65m E-W; 3.3m N-S; H 0.4-0.65m) is composed of limestone blocks with a flat surface of large slabs; its E face is obscured by rubble. A 12th/early 13th-century ringed cross (CL009-059028-) is set upright in a socket in one of slabs that forms the top of the leacht.
