This red commemorative plaque records: From this site the Little Sisters of the Assumption served the sick and the poor of Norwich with love, skill and devotion for eighty-three years. 1904-1987
The Little Sisters of the Assumption are a Catholic religious order known for their nursing and charitable work; in Norwich, they provided essential healthcare and support to the underprivileged for over eight decades from 1904 to 1987.
