This grey commemorative plaque records: Carrow Bridge was built in 1810. It linked Carrow Hill directly with the north-eastern end of Carrow Road. The bridge remained in use until the new bridge was opened to the west in 1923. Recorded plaque organisation: Norwich Heritage Economic and Regeneration Trust.
Carrow Bridge, constructed in 1810, served as a vital link between Carrow Hill and Carrow Road for over a century, facilitating local transportation until its replacement in 1923.
