The official Northern Ireland wreck record identifies Towy as Steamship. It was lost in 1930. Recorded depth: 18-11.8m. Recorded condition: Wreck lies upright in two parts c. 600m off shore. Superstructure is gone. Anomaly = 36 X 8.6 X 2.9m.
