Ripley Castle is a Grade I listed 14th-century country house in North Yorkshire that has belonged to the Ingilby baronets for centuries. Inside its gritstone walls, men hid from Cromwell, priests fled capture, and kings were knighted after saving lives from wild boar. The house absorbed debt, war and exile, yet it still stands as a place where loyalty and rebellion kept colliding.
