What is recorded here

A house is depicted on the Down Survey barony map (1656-8) of Forth barony at Yoletown (24). According to the Book of Survey and Distribution (1660s) Nicholas Stafford of Ballymacane castle (WX053-005----) owned 46 acres here in 1640, as part of the manor of Ballymacane (Simington 1953, 304-05). The precise location of this house is not known.
