Situated on a gentle S-facing slope. The faint cropmark of a D-shaped enclosure (dims c. 30m x c. 30m) defined by a single fosse feature and with the straight side at N is visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP, BDI 89). It is also visible on aerial photographs (ASIAP (4) 26-8, 35, 36) from July 1996. It is not visible at ground level in a cereal crop.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
