What is recorded here

Situated on a low-lying landscape. This is a raised circular, grass-covered area (diam. c. 45m) defined by an earthen bank or scarp (ext. H 1-1.5m) and hedge everywhere except ENE-ESE where the scarp is very slight. There is no visible fosse or entrance. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload/revision: 19 February 2013
