Not yet visited this is a west-facing triangular promontory flanked by 50’ high cliffs and sandy beaches. The straight field boundary with curving edges running across the broad neck is deserving of closer examination as the location and nature of the visible remains suggests a possible promontory fort. The area is one of low-lying fertile grassland and tillage. (Casey 2001)
