Situated on a broad but low E-W ridge. The cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 45m) defined by a single, fairly wide fosse feature (Wth c. 3m) with an entrance gap at NE is visible on aerial photographs (MM (6) 3-4). The perimeter is slightly truncated by NW-SE field bank at SW.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
