Situated on a rise in a gently undulating landscape. A subcircular enclosure (diam. c. 50m) is visible as a cropmark defined by a wide fosse feature (Wth c. 2-4m) on aerial photograph (CUCAP, BDJ 9). It has an entrance gap at SE and is also visible on aerial photographs (ASIAP (5) 14-16), but it is not visible at ground level in a cereal crop.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
