What is recorded here

Located on a level landscape. The faint cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam c. 15m) defined by a slight ditch feature that is incorporated into the ditches of field system (WX048-027-----) is visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP, BDJ 2). It is not visible at ground level in a cereal crop. The enclosure site (WX048-027002-) is c. 10m to the SW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload/revision: 2 January 2014
