Situated in a gently rolling landscape. A circular cropmark (int. diam. c. 30m) defined by a bank feature, and an outer fosse feature E-S-NW is visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP, BOD 84). It is visible as a slightly raised indeterminate area on the ground in pasture.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
