What is recorded here

Situated on a small rise in a gently rolling landscape. The cropmark of a rectangular enclosure (dims. c. 50m E-W; c. 40m N-S) defined by a single fosse feature is visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP, BDI 91). It is not visible at ground level in a root crop and it is probably a small field. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload/revision: 15 October, 2013
