Located on a slight N-facing slope. The cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 45m) defined by a single fosse feature is visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP: BGF 56) and on aerial photograph (MM (47) 18-21; (49) 13, 14; ASIAP (436) 1) and digital aerial photographs (WX047-018_1 to _5) taken in July 2006. It is not visible at ground level in a cereal crop, but it can also be seen in the OSI series of aerial photographs (2000).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
